Headshot of Dr. Mehrnaz Siahi

Dr. Mehrnaz Siahi holds a doctorate from the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich in Germany and has worked as a researcher and lecturer at the University of Ferdowsi in Mashhad, Iran and Rhodes University in Grahamstown, South Africa. Her main interest and expertise is centered on the Archean geological record of Southern Africa. Her research emphasizes the importance of field work and the usage of an integrated suit of petrological and geochemical tools in order to decipher the geological history of Archean volcano-sedimentary successions.
